Subject: Worried about my future
The future is uncertain it seems for all of us,
I worry about when my dad dies, I don't think I could handle the stress of living on my own, and managing my affairs,
I don't know what the future holds and that scares me, if I had to live in a Group home, like I hope I could have my own TV/VCR, I don't have a Huge amount of stuff.
would I be able to keep all my stuff?
Not to be offensive or anything but my Mens Magazines also,
Two things are certain in life, Death and Taxes,
and basically sadly in life, my belief is that all of us, no matter how well off, are facing a losing battle, we all die eventually.
But I have hope and faith that the suffering of humaniy will come to an end someday.

Andrew...
Do you have any brothers or sisters?

I have a secure life and still worry about my future. I know that the future leads to death but shouldn't that spur us on to make the most of what we have in life? We should be grateful that we have the gift of life - Do you realise the odds against you being born?
As for living on your own, I could offer you advice but it won't sound fun (at least initially). If you haven't got a job, go out and look for one (as long as it pays the bills it doesn't matter what it is) and keep your overheads low. There are so many people I know who plead poverty while text-messaging with their £200 mobile phones 'with' built-in camera.
Why do you fear your father's death if you don't mind me asking? Is that legitimate or just a worry?

I sometimes fear my future but you know something, you live each day carefully. It's a worry that what if my Parents pass away who will take care of me and where will I go? That's a worry. :(

I thought I was bad. You live life and you make the most of it. The sad part about life is we all get old and yes have to be put in a group home. I'm not worried about when I'm 70 yet because thats too far away to worrying about something like that. I have been through so much crap I try to be as positive as possible. Its hard sometimes but have to keep positive.

I don't worry about my future (except when my birthday comes up or New Years Eve) because God gives us to many curve-balls and miracles. Who knows what he'll present us with next. We simply cannot predict the future.

I have a pretty good future so I'm not much worried about it. ;D
