Subject: The Worlds New Problem: Childhood Obesity
Experts claim that more children(now more than ever) are becoming obese because of watching TV and spending alot of time playing video games. Having obesity at an early age can put a child can put at risk for diabetes. Question is why are parents letting their kids eat to death? I used to play video games but do other things too. I think parents need to put a time limit on their kids playing video games or something.
Opinons on this topic please:

I do see many children who are seriously overweight. :-/
I don't think video games and tv are to blame. It's the parents/guardians who are ultimately responsible for the well-being of their children.
I am of the opinion that these parents/guardians should encourage their children to eat healthily, encourage them towards daily physical activities/play and exercise. I also believe the parents/guardians should set a good example.

I agree.
Whenever I think of obese kids I think back to when shows like Maury and Sally Jesse used to have those shows with the obese kids. Did anyone see those? It was a shame. Some of them were barely 4 years old and already weighed well over 150-200 lbs.
And what was even worse, is the parents would feed them nothing but junk food because "little Timmy only liked McDonalds" blah blah. ::). To me, that is a form of child abuse to willingly contribute to, and allow your child to be that overwheight. Most of them probably won't live past 16 at that rate.

8) 8) 8)For a while it seemed that everyone thought that anorexia was the most common eating disorder, but obesity is MUCH more common, and it's getting worse, with more kids being able to afford super size fast food meals.Obesity has even artificially skewed the sizes of clothing available in stores.I wear a size 32 bra,and 30 used to be the smallest size usually available in stores now it seems the smallest size is 34! I mean---HELLO!!!---I live in California,in San Jose, home to a lot of Asian immigrants. At 5'4''and around 115 pounds,I have seen for myself that I'm quite large compared with a lot of people i see around town.Do lingerie manufacturers think none of these womwn wear underwear!?!????????Cheers!
