Let's see, a bunch of conniving, self-centered twits out-manoeuver, back stab, and manipulate their way to the top.
Hardly original. :P Of course, this may just be the only (un)reality show based on a certain aspect of truth common in the corporate (and elsewhere) world! ;D

I happen to like it. It shows corporate America the way it is. It's all about who you know and who you can step on to get to the top. 8).
It is a sad reality that I have recently learned in my line of business. But people have to remember that the ones you step on, you will need one day.

Bottom line with "reality" tv is: Its all fake.
This is yet another addition to the overflowing stockpile of crappy "reality" shows.
I recently saw a show on Vh-1 about the "Reality behing the Reality Shows". It was very interesting. It basically revealed how 99% of the things you see on these shows are all the product of creative post-production editing and manipulation.
One former producer compared "reality" tv to pro-wrestling. "As long as people watch, who cares if its real."
"Reality" TV stinks. Its ran its course. From this point on, any new "reality" show that comes out is more of a joke than anything.

*sigh* Come on, people. This is a thread about The Apprentice, not reality shows in general.
I think this show has an interesting premise, and probably the most "real" of all the reality shows. This isn't about people eating bugs for money, sleeping with each other, getting married on live TV, etc. It's a show about who can do give the best performance in the corporate world. There are no alliances or such. If you can't do your job competently, you get fired. And it features the best prize I've ever seen on one of these shows: They get a really good executive job, where they will make more money than you for the rest of their lives.
For example, the last episode featured two teams who had to create an ad for a client. The project manager for one team made the horrible decision of not consulting the client, who was quite unsatisfied with the end result because it was very middle-of-the-road and they were looking for something more shocking. And the project manager got fired.
