Subject: "He-Man" remade and "The Littles" on reruns?
I just don't know why "Masters of the Universe", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", and "Transformers" were remade and WB stations are showing reruns of "The Littles"?
I have nothing against "The Littles", but why couldn't Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, etc. show the original cartoons (mentioned) instead. They may look dated, but they're still entertaining to watch.

I was in the store and all I see is remakes from the 80s.THATS WHY IM SO GLAD I GREW UP IN THE 80S ;)They cant think of anything of anything new so they gotta remake things that were popular in the 80s.Its ashame it SUCKS compared what we watched in the 80s and they are better off just rerunning the 80s shows. That new Tranformers is AWFUL!Bring back the good ol' days!

I'm going to give credit where credit is due, the remake of He-Man IS superior to the 80's version. Even back in the 80's, a lot of kids saw the stupidity of He-Man and the cheap Filmation animation that they used.
Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have weak remakes that don't even come close to the original 80's versions.
But the He-Man cartoon really is good. It wasn't that hard to do though, the 80's Filmation version was kinda retarded even back then.

"Masters of the Universe" was a mediocre, but campy film. Though it also starred post "Dancing In The Dark" video/pre "Friends" Courtney Cox.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" were also remade into two movies.
"Inspector Gadget" was made into a horrible film which was directed by the same person who directed the long forgotten Vanilla Ice flim "Cool As Ice".
Other '70's/'80's cartoons butchered into bad movies: "Richie Rich", "Josie & The Pussycats", and (though this was from the 60's) "Rocky & Bullwinkle".
Finally, the premise from "The Littles" was inspired (or ripped off) from "The Borrowers". (I did research that stated that "The Littles" were based on children books of the same name...NOT the name of the 1997 flop...I mean...flick)

On VH-1 "I Love The 80's" they said that the "He Man" cartoons were actually thinly-disguised gay cartoons. They showed some clips and some story lines that seemed to support that theory.
