I just saw this movie today, I thought it was pretty good. Anybody else see it? If so, what did you think of it?

I really enjoyed it.
I thought the beginning/middle was kinda slow at times, and I got tired of all the darkness and quietness.
But the ending was excellent.

yeah, I didnt get the darkness at first, until the drapes were removed, then it all made sense to me...

I loved it! I saw it in the theatre and then bought it. It was soon after 6th Sense and everyone had been shocked by the surprises of that film. I thought it couldn't be done again but I think this move was great. A few things weren't clear. The father coming home sometimes confuses me. But I REALLY like this film! ;)

I agree that it was slow at first and kind of boring but once you got into it the movie all made sense. I thought it was a very good ghost movie. Great ending.

I also enjoyed it, I thought it was well constructed...all the way through you knew that something wasn't quite right but I couldn't put me finger on it, I thought it was something to do with the kids' supposed aversion to light.

It had been a while since I'd seen a well made ghost movie. It also gets points for originality.
Goodness knows that the combination of "well made" and "original" is hard to find nowadays in the movie industry.

I remembering renting not really knowing what to expect. I watched it and I thought was a very good movie. :) I like the whole "element of surprise" with movies.(Like Sixth Sense)

I think that was the point, but didn't you know that the father was a ghost too?
It was not easy to get into it the first time I saw it so I had to watch it twice to understand it better. Still I thought it was really good too.

I loved this movie. (Been meaning to record it but haven't as of yet). I figured it out since the beginning. It did kind of remind me of the Sixth Sense. I didn't figure that one out, but the Others I did. Loved them both.

Others was a good movie. very welld one and how everything started coming together at the end
i get the father coming home. kinda to keep those trying to get away back in. if you're into ghosts and what not it'd make more sense ;D
