I hope you have loads of fun when you get here BJ ;D

You should really check out the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, it's beautiful! Drop by Rockefeller center and see the christmas tree and/or do some ice skating. If you really want to party go to Webster Hall, I had a ball there on New Years 2002!

As for me this year I'm  skipping christmas. I gonna take the most powerful pills I have and sleep until New Years. THEN I'm gonna party.

Well, Christmas Eve my family is going to my Aunt's. This is the one time a year we see our whole family (the little one we do have) together.

Christmas day, I'm going to my great Aunt's house out in the county for dinner.

This year everybody is coming to our place.  We have family coming from interstate who arrive on Saturday.  On Christmas Morning we will go to Mass and then have friends over for a glass of champagne.  My husband arrived home with the case of champagne today.  Lunch is a seafood barbeque followed by traditional plum pudding (supplied by Mum) and a tropical fruit platter.  We are catering for 9 adults and 8 children.  After lunch we meet friends down at the park and we play cricket.  At 4 o'clock my in-laws arrive and we exchange gifts, have another drink and then indulge in turkey, ham and salad and my mother-in-law always makes the most stunning mango mousse which will finish off our meal.  After that I go on a diet :P

Sounds good - but this year we'll all be missing Dad who passed away in November  :'(   I keep finding myself walking around the shops thinking "what am I going to buy for Dad this year" and then realise that I don't have to buy anything :(

I'm going to be spending this Christmas at the coast with my brother and his family - in a caravan park!!  I hate caravans and haven't been in one since I was about 5 yrs old, but I adore my nephews so I wouldnt miss it in the world.  My parents will be staying home (my Dad isn't a well person) so it will be the first Christmas ever that I haven't spent with my parents.

Sorry to hear about your Dad Jaytee. :'(  I hope you have a great Christmas with your family all around you.

My in-laws are coming to our house for Christmas this year.  Not quite sure when they are arriving yet.  I'm in work upto and including Christmas Eve and my hubby is at home looking after the children.  We're doing turkey and all the trimmings.

All my family live locally so they are coming round to ours for a dinner on the 27th.  There will be 9 or 10 adults (depending if dad is working or not) and 6 children for dinner.

We are going away to Snowdonia with a crowd of friends for New Year.  We take over a Youth Hostel for 3 or 4 days and go hill-walking, look at the slate mines or whatever takes our fancy during the day and have do-it-yourself cabarets, country dancing and stuff in the evenings.  There's a big dinner and then party games on New Year's Eve and a fell race a little way up Snowdon in the morning (just when you're feeling nice and hungover!)

We do have decorations that we haven't seen for about 5 years. Who knows what we have in there. We will probably find out tonight.

Well I "was" going to spend my two weeks off between 24th and 5th updating websites and building some new ones

BUT

Doctor has decided that because I wont be anywhere near my work puter - then I also have to avoid my home puter for the whole two weeks.  I have sufferred chronic RSI (or OUS as it is now known - over use syndrome) for 11 months now - from my fingers to my shoulder blade in my right arm.  Doc feels two weeks away from home and work puters - and pumping massive doses of anti inflams - "may" fix it.

She just doesnt understand that my in box will explode from 2 weeks of spam !!!!!!!!!!!!

SO a friends hubby has said he is taking my puter away to rebuild it for me - then I cant cheat and use it :(

Two whole weeks arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

And its going to be stinking hot here.  So I think I will spend my two weeks watching DVD's.  I have heaps of A Team and Battlestar Galactica to catch up on !!

two whole weeks :(

I've already been to a Christmas party,I went today with my therapy group to a Chinese/Japanese/American place called "Super Buffet" in Egg Harbor Township(that's in New Jersey, folks)where we ate, hung out,and celebrated. I actually got up and sang "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer","Jingle Bells" and the "No-No Song" by Ringo Starr(I think the song is just plain FUNNY and everyone else laughed too!)The sweet and sour chicken was delightful, melted in the mouth! My friends and I got really cool gifts-I got a travel organizer with nice toiletries such as Keri lotion and a Conair mini hairbrush, and a $20 gift certificate to a local mall, which I plan to use for more NASCAR collectibles. My day treatment program has a party on Wednesday, and on Christmas Day I am cooking a turkey for my roommate and I. Whew! :-*
