Subject: bcs gives USC The Shaft
Bullsh*t-Bullsh*t-Bullsh*t >:(
The BS does it AGAIN.....idiots ::)
Subject: Re: bcs gives USC The Shaft
Yeah, I will agree with you there. That is pretty messed up. I like USC because they beat Iowa last year in the Orange Bowl. :)
Subject: Re: bcs gives USC The Shaft
Should've been USC and LSU.
This is why I want a playoff system.
Subject: Re: bcs gives USC The Shaft
Its all about the Rose Bowl this year. Classic matchup between SC and Michigan. If SC wins they get their ninth championship from the AP.

The tragic part of the BCS BS is that Oklahoma is still ranked #1 in their bogus poll, instead of #3 like they should. Just because of some home wins against quality teams. USC is the big loser in all this because even with the old system, they still would play in the Rose Bowl rather than for the National title, because of the Big Ten-Pac 10 commitment. So the end result is a National title game that didn't need the BCS to set up. >:(
Sign me up for the playoff petition. :D

Does this mean USC can't win the national championship because the BCS didn't put them in the championship game? If you are #1 in both polls you should be in the championship game and not in the Rose Bowl. Oklahoma looked terrible in their last game.

The #1 factor that has turned me off of College Football is the freakin BSC. >:(
Its crap. I totally hate it.

USC can win the championship. But according to the BCS rules, the coaches are obligated to select the Sugar Bowl winner. Many coaches are considering rebeling against the edict and vote USC anyway if they win the Rose Bowl. And that would mean there would be no use for the stupid BCS. I would agree with some experts that more controversy would result from picking a 16 team playoff. But I would take that over a dogfight to the top of any polls.
