They're an interesting group. I first saw their video for I Believe In A Thing Called Love and I seriously thought it was one of those long lost videos from the 80s or something. Imagine my surprise when I found out they were a band from the 00s! It's pretty cool they play 70s influenced music in the 00s. Definitely a much-needed change of pace for music.

The rock world is waking up to the fact that not all hair metal was that bad, was it? I mean, yeah, no one wants Winger back but a lot of it was actually good, right? After a long decade of joyless grunge wannabeism, we could use something else, couldn't we?

Hair metal rules! And I want Winger back...that would me very very happy. :)

I love The Darkness's last three songs (I believe in a thing called love - what a video, ha ha, Growing on me and the Christmas song Don't let the bells end). They are a refreshing change to a very self conscious era of music.
As for Winger I only know one song and that's 'Miles away' and I love it. I don't know about anything else of theirs though.

I have I Believe in a Thing called Love on one of my cd's that I burnt, I LOVE the guitars, but the singing is just weird. Once it gets to the chorus, that is.
