Subject: Mics Allegedly Planted In Jacko's Jet

Written By: Indy Gent on 11/26/03 at 10:42 a.m.

The defense team of Michael Jackson has claimed that video and audio equipment was hidden in the pop icon's private jet, and that a crew member on that jet sold a tape of a conversation between Jacko and his lawyer to Fox for $6,000,000. The lawyer, in an incendiary speech, lambasted those who would profit from such a stunt. Looks terrible for the prosecution, but what do you think?

I'd want to see/hear those recordings before I formulate an opinion.

There is NO WAY that the prosecution did this.  They know that any judge in the country would exclude the tapes from use as evidence of any form.  (You cannot conduct surveillance on a defendant and his lawyer...that is a violation of lawyer/client priveledge).

News accounts say the the jet lessor, "XtraJet" was shopping the tapes around.  If this is shown to be true, their business will be dead meat.  Celebs and execs lease jets because they want discretion and security.  If XtraJet was surreptisiously taping MJ, then they have completely violated his trust, and few jet patrons will want to do business with them.

Note that the above comments have no bearing on whether you are pro-or-con towards MJ in the pedophile case.

XtraJet will be dead meat anyway, because if somebody ELSE planted those videocameras, then XtraJet failed in operating a SECURE airplane.

Hmm not sure the way the law works on airplane miking???
I don't remembering planes being called lawyers offices and they tape people in department stores or open areas without worries don't they?

I thought some private or high tech planes even have an intercom to talk back and forth with the pilot if you'd like.

I'm not trying Miko outside the courtroom either...but I wonder....how much did he pay off "Bubbles the Chimp" to get lost?

HMMMMMMMM??

Evidently, in the States they don't need to find anything to keep you in jail.   :o >:(
