Subject: TV coverage of British Embassy bombing in Turkey

Written By: goodsin on 11/21/03 at 09:45 a.m.

Hey, any folks in the UK see the TV coverage of the explosion at the Brit embassy in Turkey last night? Bizarrely, there were cameras there filming when the bomb went off, but the area had not been evacuated of the public! Did the TV crews know something no-one else did?? A cynical conspiracy theorist like myself thinks there may well be a link in the timing of the bombing & Bush's visit to the UK. It is not unknown for countries to act against their ally & blame the enemy to engender greater support for their union. I sincerely hope this was not the cause of the attack (of course we're supposed to believe it was Al Quaida (sp?) choosing this date to show disapproval of the USA & the UK's relationship)- this would take us back to the dark days of the 70's, when Europe became a battleground for the Israeli security forces against any perceived threat. Anyone who remembers this lot may recall their impartiality as to who they blew up to win different nations' support- as Bush is a strong supporter of Israeli interests, I just hope he's not adopting their old (terrorist)anti-terrorist methods...but I digress. Anyone know why, coincidentally, a british film crew was filming this embassy when this bomb went off? Surely if they had been warned, then the public should have been too??
