Eh.  Politics.  Interesting article though, and something you don't normally see from a Democrat.

well, I just watched the post-filibuster reactions from both Dems and Repubs on C-Span from earlier today, and Ted "gimme another round" Kennedy called Bush's rejected nominees, and I quote, a bunch of "neanderthals(sp?)".  I couldn't believe it.  What a scum bag.

Now lets see if it make the morning papers.  I doubt it. ::)

The Dems have harped on the fact that the Republicans rejected more of Clinton nominees than the current Dems have rejected.  Well, theres one thing they are leaving out:  all the nominees rejected during the Clinton years were voted on.

This filibuster was just a way for the Dems to avoid the vote because they knew the nominees would be approved.  Not only that, they knew their reputations would be hurt by voting against a completely capable nominee, such as the ones in question.

This filibuster is yet another shameless move by the left, imepeding on Democracy.  But, sadly, considering where it is coming from I'm not surprised at all. ::)

Considering the qualifications and statures of the nominees, I'd say that they should have deserved being called "Cro-Magnons" rather than "Neanderthals" ;D

Can't please them all ::)
