Subject: Character Actor Jack Elam Dies

Jack Elam, known for playing villians in westerns and on TV, died yesterday. He was known for having big bulging eyes, and being featured in films like "Gunfight At The OK Corral", "Cannonball Run", and the "Support Your Local Gunfighter/Support Your Local Sheriff" comedies. On TV, he was on short-lived series "The Texas Wheelers", "Struck By Lightning" and "Easy Street". For fans of the genre, he willbe missed. :'(

Jack Elam was the quintessential cowboy actor. When you'd see him in a movie, you knew you were gonna get the real deal.
Jack, RIP. You finally made it to that big chuck wagon in the sky. :'(
