Subject: Former "Hoosiers" Actor Commits Suicide
Written By: Indy Gent on 09/12/03 at 09:54 a.m.
Another not so famous Hollywood actor, but one of the young stars of the popular film "Hoosiers", Kent Poole, hung himself in his hometown of Crawfordsville, Indiana. He was one of the starting five players in the film, which also starred Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper. Hi famous line was "Let's win one for the small schools that never made it this far." He was also a high school basketball player, which led to his role in "Hoosiers". He was pnly 39. Even on this sad day for celebrity deaths, Poole will be greatly missed. :'( http://www.theindychannel.com/entertainment/2477307/detail.html
