Subject: Idi Amin is dead
So long Idi, you big dipstick....
It is estimated that the former Ugandan dictator was responsible for the deaths of over a half a million of his countrymen...... :( :'(
What a visionary ! What an idiot ! >:( >:( >:(

I wouldn't normally wish death on anyone, but this bloke wasn't normal anyway...
The cow-son should've been done away with years ago...

Idi Amin was even more psycho and full of himself than Saddam was. I guess they will see each other in hell.

Idi Amin is dead...
...and not a moment too soon
Subject: Re: Idi Amin is dead
Idiot Amin should have been shot down by his own people eons ago, but thats beside the point. He was one of the most racist, man hating tyrants that we supported. And pretty soon, Noriega, Ortega, Castro, Saddam and other dictators will soon follow.

This guy's life was a tragedy for over 500,000 people: Ugandan Asians, Jews and, eventually native Ugandans themselves. So many people were dumped into the river after being murdered by Amin's special forces that the turbines in the dams were blocked with body parts. The Libyans let him escape unharmed and the Saudis let him live out his exile in luxury. The death of Idi Amin was a tragedy for no one, and should have happened in 1978.

You live and learn...according to the Sunday papers (so it must be true!), David Owen (now Lord Owen) who was part of Harold Wilson's government in the mid-1970's mentioned doing away with him, only to be told by MI6 that "they didn't do that sort of thing"...if only...

Great news - but still sad that a human being can turn out like the way he did. Its hard to believe he was once someone's baby..........
