I was thinking the same thing.  I remember Murphy played the homely looking girl that was turned into a beautiful person in Clueless.  And I remember that Brittany Murphy made a very believable homely looking chick, she wasn't like some of the more laughable versions of that same old tired story.  Sometimes when they do this type of story they take drop dead gorgeous women and try to make them look homely or average, and then make them look like themselves again.  But Murphy was very believable as an average looking girl.  

It's amazing how she has changed, she doesn't even look the same.

Well she looks like "blossomed" a little bit but if you get all the Hollywood make-up artists you can make anybody really look good anyway. When you get down to it its whats on the inside that counts as corny as that may seem.
