Subject: "Stripperella"

Ren and Stimpy and "Gary the Rat" already have their threads, so I guess this completes the TNN animated Thursday block (although I figure someone else might have a similar thread). Has anyone seen this raunchy bit with Pamela Anderson? I've caught a glimpse, and I don't know whether of not it's supposed to be funny. It looks like an action feature, but the acting, story, and speaking parts are embarrassinglt bad to the point of parody. What's your take?

I too caught it once, and never again. :D

I don't expect it to be on much longer.

And while we're on the subject, personally I think the whole TNN Network as a whole has gone down the toilet in the last couple years.

It was meant to be campy, like 60's "Batman".

I actually thought it was campy and fun to watch.
My favorite episode was when she has to battle a "cheap" robber from stealing the world's largest imitation diamond.
And another one where she saved a super model at the VH1 Fashion Awards. IMO, it was worth watching.

All of these cartoons have major Achilles' heels. R&S is now unwatchable with more gore and fading toilet humor. Gary The Rat isn't funny; not even Kelsey Grammer can save it. And Stripperella for the reasons stated above. If TNN is the network for men, I hope there aren't too many left. ::)

I don't like the new "Ren & Stimpy", but "Gary the Rat" & "Stripperella" aren't that bad.

And they not appeal to a lot of people, but hey, you're all intitled to your opinions.

And I know some of my female friends who watches "Gary the Rat".
Heck, I even watch Intimate Portrait "Lifetime".

So true.

Ren & Stimpy peaked...oh I don't know, 10 years ago. :D

As for Gary the Rat, I didn't even know it was still on.  I never thought it was funny.

TNN is just not good anymore.  I stopped watching that cnahhel when they took "Dukes of Hazzard" reruns off a few years ago :D, and I think its gotten worse since then.

Whoever is in charge of developing the lineup at TNN should be pelted with tomatoes in public for what they have done there. ;D

I never liked The Nashville Network.
And not a fan of "Dukes of Hazzard".
(Though I liked "Smokey & The Bandit")

It didn't change that much.

I actually like the New TNN channel. No offense.
I enjoy the reruns of Miami Vice (should replace "Mc Gyver" on TV Land), "CSI", and "V.I.P.".

Though I don't like wrestling and James Bond movies.
