Subject: Fountains of Wayne
Have anybody seen the funny video from Fountains of Wayne titled "Stacy's Mom", featuring Rachel Hunter?
It features a homage to "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". 8)
It's funny and Rachel Hunter looks great.
(I think she's Rod Stewart's wife or ex wife. I don't pay attention to the "gossip" that much anymore.)

I have only heard one song, "Stacy's Mom". It's pretty cool.

Bought their most recent CD, and it is awesome. By all accounts, I should also buy their other two CDs.
For beginners, download the following songs:
Bright Future in Sales
Radiation Vibe
Sink to the Bottom
Denise
Hey Julie

I've heard Stacy's Mom (great song), and Hackensack.

I've heard the song but don't much care for it. The intro sounds too much like "Just what i needed" by the Cars.
Subject: Re: Fountains of Wayne
Well, it is supposed to be a Cars homage.

I've heard all of Welcome Interstate Managers, plus a few other songs, like "Bowling Shoes", "Denise", and "I Want An Alien For Christmas".
My personal favorites are "Hackensack", "Halley's Waitress", "Denise", "I Want An Alien For Christmas", and "Hey Julie".
And "That Thing You Do!" is great too. (Gold star if you know what I'm talking about.) :D
