Subject: Longtime Cowboys' GM Tex Schram Dies
Written By: Indy Gent on 07/15/03 at 11:44 p.m.
Another big loss in the sporting world. Tex Schram, the longtime General Manager of the Dallas Cowboys, known for presiding over the Cowboys' Super Bowl seasons of the 70s, died at his Dallas home yesterday. He was 83. Schram was instrumental in building what would be known as "America's Team", with Staubach, Dorsett, and Randy White and the Flex defense. He will be missed. :'(
