The government claims he gave information about Iraqi opposition groups to Iraqi officials. He claims he was just working as a journalist. What do you think??
I am wondering exactly what information he gave? If he supplied information which is publicly known, then i do not see the harm. And isn't part of being a journalist keeping contacts? He was a newspaper publisher, so just because he knew Iraqi officials is not good enough for me to convict him. But if he had secret US documents, then that is a crime. I do not like the government arresting people because they publish unpopular opinions, if that is what has happened.

"Aiding and Abetting the Iraqi cause"?
So what exactly does that mean? I agree with John, it sounds like he's accused of not towing the government line (aka telling the truth ;))
