Subject: NBA Has All ABA Finals
I saw a piece on Tim Duncan this morning on ESPN....it showed how he was properly coached the fundamentals of the game and his "Attitude" is one of good sportsmanship....something I truely believe is lacking in most of todays sports but especially in the nba....also shootiung the ball off the glass and knowing how to dribble and not carry the ball. The last time the Nets and Spurs met in the playoffs was 1976, when Julius Erving's Nets defeated George Gerin's Spurs in 7 games in the ABA semi-finals. Game 7 was played on April 24, 1976. The next day Tim Duncan was born!

I have mixed feelings about the all ABA finals in that the Pacers are not one of the teams in it. But it will be a better series than anyone might expect. The Nets have a better shot than they did last year, when the Lakers paid the refs dearly for a three-peat. At least they're long gone. :D

I hate the Lakers, but the Western Conference is so much better than the East. The Spurs in 5 or 6.

They were talking about this on the radio Friday. The DJ said the only thing that would make this series better was if they would play with a red, white and blue basketball.

Maybe Stern will step down as the Commish and the league will hire someone like Slick Leonard or Mike Storen or someone that'll use the RWB ball for certain games. But that'll be when weeds stop growing. :(

Jason Kidd is one awesome player...I'm all for an exciting series but....Go Spurs....and bring back the darn ball already!

I thought about you Mark, when I realized that this was the first time that two original ABA franchises were in the finals for the first time. All I can say is, bring back the VIRGINIA SQUIRES!!
