Subject: Reefer Madness!!!
Just a story relating to my views on marijuana.
I first became aquainted with it as a youth in the late 70's, I had an older sister that had many partying friend, being the young brother I provided lots of entertainment for them. ;D
During those days pot was measured by the ounce, $10 would by you a "three finger lid", ..freakin' ancient history.
1981 I was sitting with my sister and one of her friends, he pulled out a small bag of "green bud", 1st time I ever heard of it. I took three hits, which in the old days you may be starting to feel something, but this time was different. I melted to the chair. All the muscles in my body refused to work, my mouth became dry, the only thing that was working was my brain and it wasn't being kind.
I sat there immobile with my mind asking in a million words a minute if I "had something hanging out my nose" - it felt as if something was there but of course I couldnt check. Then it went to "can others see something hanging out my nose" And when I was convinced that something was hanging then it moved on to "that is so bad, something hanging out your nose, and you're doing nothing about it!"
Kinda lost that attraction to pot that night.

This kind of implies that what we should do is grow up some of the strongest, meanest weed and force first-timers to toke heavily, thereby putting them off the stuff for life ;-)
Having said that, there's always some who'll think the kind of thing you're describing is a positive experience - never quite understood that kind of thinking myself..

I am thinking that starting someone off with "kind bud" would do the exact opposite, Phil. They would definitley be coming back for more. ::)
