Thats really sad I hope they find it to be natural causes
....and all the kings horses and all the kings men couldnt put the old man on the mountain back together again. :-/

By the same token, it would be folly to try and restore it. There was a rock formation off the south coast of Australia called London Bridge that was two natural arches joined by a column. One day a few years back one of the arches collapsed and now it doesn't look like London Bridge anymore. Still, it would be a great shock to just look up and see that it was gone.
