Subject: Mr. Personality/Monica Lewinski (sp?)
The fact that this tripe is just another sucky, low-class "reality" show is not the biggest nor the main reason for my rant about this show.
The host, Monica Lewinski (sp?), does not deserve to be recognized, televised, or any such thing. We, the general public, I do not deserve to turn on my television, flip through the channels and be faced with a "ho", even if it is for 2.2 seconds; nor do I deserve the torture of being faced with commercials and marketing bombardment for the stupid show and it's slut of a host, while attempting to enjoy other programming.
When it comes down to it, all this woman ever did to become infamous, then famous, was give a guy a "head" job, even if that guy was the president of the U.S.
I think she's a dirty slut with no morals and definitely the poorest example of a person to have on TV. It's not like she just acted the dirty part. She is the dirty part.
Now, I know Fox likes to cause controversy to boost their ratings and all and sadly, it usually works for them with their ridiculous "reality" shows.
I just think they went too far beyond the boundaries of taste with this one. :P
I just won't be tuning in.

Hairspray, I certainly welcome your rant on this subject. Monica deserves no spots on television beyon the news stations back in '98.
There is aslo another "reality" show cming out that has a group of men and women drinking to see who ends up with each other. Freakin' poison to the mind.
The only thing that could allow me to enjoy shows like this is a major head injury and heavy medication. Even then I don't know if I could be senceless enough to commit to an entire episode.

How low can tv get? >:(
Atleast I never tend to watch these shows.
I'll be watching reruns of "Seinfeld" instead. :D
Heck, I'm better off watching "The Brady Bunch" than those horrid reality shows.
Too bad that this show aired a year after TV Guide put out their "50 Worst Shows" list. :-/
This would bump "Jerry Springer" out of the #1 spot. ;D
So bad that it would make "The Pitts" look like "Seinfeld".

What have the world of television come to? :-/
Whatever happened to well scripted, quality programmimg?
Now it's all worthless garbage that would make "The Bundys" look like "The Cleavers".
Though I am a fan of some raunchy programs, but atleast they were done in good taste & some are well written like "South Park".

I wonder what the people who are on this show are thinking? It seems a little ridiculous for us to believe that they are on for true love. These are going too far. This opinion will probably get me booted out of the boards ;), but I like some reality shows. I love American Idol, Nashville Star and Survivor.
As for Monica Lewinsky....http://www.inthe00s.com/smilies/barf.gif

I guess they're thinking "I'm on telly!"... I haven't yet worked out whether you need to be stupider to be on one of these programs, or to watch them...

While I agree that Monica Lewinsky has no talent and doesn't deserve to be hosting a television show, even if it is a lousy trashy show like Mr Personality. I disagree with calling her dirt because she gave someone oral. Why does that make her so disgusting? My girlfriend has done it, i've done it (not on a man), millions of people do it on a daily basis, it certainly doesn't make us all dirty and disgusting.

I think what people are trying to say is it isn't the act itself, it is that she should not be rewarded with fame for doing something that essentially had nothing to do with any kind of achievement or acting talent. She is a shock celeb. Although from what I have heard, it isn't like the show is going to grab viewers who appreciate acting talent in the first place. :-/

I agree with what everyone has said so far. I mean, come on, guys in masks? Is this a play on the Phantom of the Opera or something? Is one of them going to bust out in song at any given moment? Or, are they going to start chasing us with axes, knives, etc like Jason? I definitely WILL NOT be watching this show. It's a joke!

Shaz answered well. Thanks Shaz! ;)
Now that I think about it, ML did oral a very married man and one who should have been the biggest "no-no", the president. Perhaps this has something to do with why I consider her dirt. She's not exactly "up there" in the morality scale. I do acknowledge I shouldn't be so judgmental, but I'm only human and it's hard not to. I don't agree with anything she's done nor with what she represents, IMO.
Remember I'm just typing my opinion of her here, not statements written in stone.
To those who watched that "Joe Millionaire" show.... (someone volunteered this tripe info to me, goodness help me... ::))
Joe and Zora didn't even make it past the end of the show. There's "reality" TV for ya'. :P
