I was actually in the kitchen cooking dinner and himself had the T.V on, I just came through when I realised what song it was I could hear being mutilated in such a hideous fashion

There's no law against liking other artists & expressing opinion.

BTW, Deborah Gibson never sang "Stairway To Heaven".

What if I like Deborah Gibson better than "Maria, Marie, Marisol, uhmmm...Martika, Oh yeah , Mariah...I remember her" Carey.

Deborah Gibson's voice,in my opinion, is much soother & beautiful than Mariah Carey.
And looks more attractive & doesn't dress like a guest from "Springer" to get attention. (or collaborate with top rappers & singers)

And Deborah Gibson is only one of my favorite female artists.

Not everybody likes Mariah Carey.
Just because she has a couple of octives doesn't make her unique.

I would care less if Mariah  decides to chop up "Lost In Your Eyes" or "Out Of The Blue".

All I'm stating is that Mariah Carey is not my cup of tea.

I just find her voice very annoying like the sound of  a tuning fork.
