Subject: Gaining Friendship From Failed Marriage..Possible!
After a LONG stressful try to iron out our differences, my wife and I finally realized that sometimes it's better to just be friends. She is getting her own place and our children are being wonderful through this hard time for them. I just wanted to let all of you that have taken the time to PM me and care for me, that I sincerely appreciate it ;) If anyone would like to share thier opinions or stories, please feel free.....

Good luck Mark though I'm sure it will all be fine.Personally I think these things get easier once you've finally bit the bullet and made the decision.

Good luck man. I had a similar experience with my marriage and it did work out for the best. Sounds like the two of you can work things out on a good basis cooperatively, especially if you both recognize the needs of your kids. That was the basis of my and my X's cooperation. Again, good luck and hang in there.

I had a friend growing up, whose parents were divorced. They could not stand to live together, but once they got divorced, they were together all the time. I didn't even realize they were divorced until she told me. They were the best of friends. I hope things work out for the best!

I wish you all the best, Mark. My sister is about to end her marriage of over 22 years. And since I'm the only one who has never married in my family, I'm also the only one who has never divorced!

I'm glad to hear the parting is going to be on somewhat friendly terms, and by mutual consent.
As someone who knows what the alternative is, I am happy that things are going to be ok for you.
