Subject: Something that makes me sick
The Dixie Chicks exercise their constitutional right to free speech and criticize an upcoming war, something that roughly half the country was doing at the time, and the response is to boycott their music and trash their CD's and their album sales have dropped to about half of what they were a week ago.
R. Kelly pees on a naked 14-year-old and he debuts at the top of the charts.

Well, in all fairness, the Dixie Chicks didn't speak out about the war, they spoke directly about the pres. And R. Kelly (though I think he's a sick puppy) has not been proven guilty. But I agree with your point. lThere's something inherently wrong with that logic.

I copied this from another website:
"Los Angeles: Roman Polanski, who has been a fugitive for the past quarter century after pleading guilty to having sex with an underage girl, has won the best-director Oscar for The Pianist.
But Polanski, who lives in France, could not attend the ceremony to accept his first Academy Award because he faces arrest if he returns to the United States."

Now if the Dixie Chicks peed on Roman Polanski, would you buy R Kelleys new release?

LMAO!!!!! ;D

Well, once again methinks it's based on who the buyer of music is. Apparently the Dixie Chicks fans are right wing wackos and the R. Kelly fans are pedophiles.

How about if the Dixie Chicks peed on R. Kelly in a forest, would Roman Polanski be there to film it? ;D

Actor Robert Blake pleaded not guilty to murdering his wife, Bonny Lee Bakley, in May 2001, at his re-arraignment Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The actor also spoke briefly to the press before heading into court, telling reporters, "I'm standing here in front of you and that's proof that this is still America."

Point, and point. The evidence is pretty strong against R. Kelly, however.

R Kelly and the Dixie Chicks enter a club in France. Roman Polanski is tending bar and Pee Wee Hermann is dancing on stage.
R Kelly asks Pee Wee for a "Texas" lap dance, Roman gets excited at the thought and grabs his camera to film the event.
The Dixie Chicks become disgusted and announce being ashamed that the dance was a named after their home state and thank France for providing sanctuary for convicted pedophiles.
I have know idea where I was going to with this. ::)

It's all propaganda. Of course, I'm a socialist, so what do I know?

I hope the Dixie Chicks don't win the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards coming up.
