Subject: Anti-War protestors "shocked back to reality"...
The following is a snippet from an article regarding some anti-war "human shields" that went to interview some Iraqi's, and as a result, were "shocked back to reality". Its an intersting read. I copied and pasted the first few paragraphs below:

Group shows Iraqis welcoming U.S.
By Arnaud de Borchgrave
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
AMMAN, Jordan — A group of American anti-war demonstrators, part of a Japanese human-shield delegation, returned from Iraq yesterday with 14 hours of uncensored video, all shot without Iraqi government minders present, with Iraqis eager to tell of their welcome for American troops.
The Rev. Kenneth Joseph, a young American pastor of the Assyrian Church of the East, said the trip to Iraq "had shocked me back to reality."
Some of the Iraqis he interviewed on camera, he said, "told me they would commit suicide if American bombing didn't start. They were willing to see their homes demolished to gain their freedom from Saddam 's bloody tyranny."
Mr. Joseph said the Iraqis convinced him that Saddam is "a monster the likes of which the world had not seen since Stalin and Hitler. He and his sons are sick sadists.
"Their tales of slow torture and killing made me ill, such as people put in a huge shredder for plastic products, feet first so the could hear their screams as bodies got chewed up from foot to head."........

...the article went on to describe their journey through Jordan.

I heard about this on the radio, today. Scary stuff...I really hope that I never see that video.

He is a monster. He should not be allowed to exist in this world. The things he does are just as bad as Hitler....as long as there are men like this in the world, the world cannot have perfect peace. :( That's just the way it is, it isn't a perfect world.

Well, if anyone thinks there's sniping on this board, check out the inflamed passion on another board:
Anyone notice that the anti-war people, when they are protesting, usually are holding red flags and that the protest marches are sponsored, and run by, Communist organizations (Workers World Party, A.N.S.W.E.R., etc.)? The vast majority of Americans know that this war is just and legal. The Communist traitors who don't want to believe this, will simply destroy themselves. These pieces of garbage really want to undermind the United States. For them the Cold War never ended and they simply want to use the Islamic Fundamentalists to help achieve a Communist Revolution. Of course this will never succeed, but these jerks may cause damage in the effort.
Does anyone ever notice that the anti-war protestors NEVER say anything negative about Saddam Hussein? That's because they only see the United States and capitalism as a threat, and since Iraq is neither they don't have a problem with that country. So keep b*tching you traitors, because it will make victory in Iraq that much sweeter.
Finally, don't tell me any sh*t about free speech, because if you Communist traitors had your way nobody would have any rights (except maybe the Intelligencia and the Politburo). These traitors will fail.

Well, Steve, I guess you listen to differnt protesors than I do. All the ones I hear hate Saddam as much as you do.
There are lots of rotten dictators in the world, and have been for a long time. Many of them have been, and are now supported by the U.S. and are just as bad as Saddam. How come Mr Bush can tolerate, not to mention support, some, but this one has to go? Many of the others (like Musharif of Pakistan) have nucs - talk about weopons of mass destruction. Or are you advocating that the US try to remake the world in its own image?
As to "communists", yeah, I guess there's one under almost every bed ::) Except in my house :P
