Subject: Wouldn't it be nice
For president Bush and Hussein to have dinner and discuss things whilst driinking some tea. ;D
Subject: Re: Wouldn't it be nice
I think all of our problems with Iraq could be solved if we could just get all Iraqi soldiers stoned. That way they'd be too mellow to fight. ;D
Subject: Re: Wouldn't it be nice
What do you figure they'd order for dinner?

I can't imagine but I wouldn't want to be their waitress. ;)
Subject: Re: Wouldn't it be nice
That wouldn't work. Saddam would put a whoopee cushion under Dubya's chair and then Dubya would get upset and throw all of his food at Saddam. It'd be a disaster.
You know that's how it would happen.
Subject: Re: Wouldn't it be nice
I still think you should get him stoned.

The idea going round the office here would be for a virtual war, based on the QuakeIII engine with a Saddam v Bush deathmatch (you never know, you might even find OBL hiding in the map somewhere)
And come to think of it, why not have that as the basis for ALL future conflicts?

I agree with Philbo. In fact, I proposed on some long lost thread ages ago that international disputes should be settled by the leaders and cabinet ministers getting together for a round-robin pool competition. Whoever's left at the end, wins. ;D

Been thinking: what you actually want is quite a free gaming engine, with all cheats enabled and teams of programmers working to try and outdo the other side's... Having said that, the US'll never go for that: I've worked with Russian, Polish, Czech, Swiss and US programmers (oh, yes, and Brits, too)... we'd see a real change in world order ;-)

As a wise professor once suggested...keyboards at 40 paces ;)
And how could I forget:
Beach Boys
"Wouldn't It Be Nice"
Wouldn't it be nice if we were older
Then we wouldn't have to wait so long
And wouldn't it be nice to live together
In the kind of world where we belong
You know its gonna make it that much better
When we can say goodnight and stay together
Wouldn't it be nice if we could wake up
In the morning when the day is new
And after having spent the day together
Hold each other close the whole night through
Happy times together we've been spending
I wish that every kiss was neverending
Wouldn't it be nice
Maybe if we think and wish and hope and pray it might come true
Baby then there wouldn't be a single thing we couldn't do
We could be married
And then we'd be happy
Wouldn't it be nice
You know it seems the more we talk about it
It only makes it worse to live without it
But lets talk about it
Wouldn't it be nice
Sing us the song of the lyric maaaaaaaaaaan...:D
Subject: Re: Wouldn't it be nice
Sing us a song, your the lyric man,

Cause we're all in the mood for a melody, and you've got us feeling alright! ;D

My vote would be for a high stakes poker game. No fancy stuff, just good old five card draw. Both start with 100million and keep playing till some one has it all. 10$ bet limit and two raises. That would keep them both out of trouble for a looooooong time ;D

Or... we could have them go to one of those Giant Steak houses. You know, the kind that serve the 100-ounce cuts. First man to clean his plate and is able to waddle away wins. ;D

This is always the island of misfit penguins. Oh yeah, that is under water now. Well, maybe it will still be a good place. They wouldn't be disturbed. And they can have all the sushi they want. ;)

You all remember the show "The Odd Couple", well just imagine if Pres Bush and Saddam were on it in place of Felix and Oscar and how funny that would be. ;D
