Subject: Changing Their Tune?

Written By: Kenlos on 03/18/03 at 09:05 p.m.

From what I heard on TV a few hours ago France seems to be changing their tune a little bit.  According to what I heard on Fox News Channel the French are now saying if Iraq uses chemical or biological weapons at any point in the war that they will then help us out.

Please lets all collectively roll our eyes and tell France, "Thanks, but no thanks." ::)

If an allied nation offers support, even an annoying one, you don't friggin' say "no," Race.

Or to put it another way:  They're supposed to be the snooty ones.

Well, Race, Kenny does have a point.  Don't look a gift horse in the mouth (or something to that effect) ;)

Of course, we could always take bets on how fast they throw their guns down and run away like little pansies ;D

I understand what Race is saying.  Seems to me like as soon as the French realized there could be use of warfare that they aren't prepared to deal with that they want the protection of the US.
Although I agree with Kenny.

I do have to admit that I've tripped over my pride a few times in my life.  I just get the feeling that they are "offering" their participation only because their blocking of action failed and it's a feeble attempt to gain back some credibility as an ally.

What is that expression? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, I kick your a@@!
