Subject: war against Iraq
The British government have just voted in favour of going to war against Iraq.
Although some Labour M P's voted against the government their numbers were not sufficient to overturn the vote.
We are now only a day or so away from a second Gulf War.

like, we wouldn't be going in if Blair lost the vote :-/
as I've just said somewhere else:
It's all over bar the shooting
........ it has been for ages
Subject: Re: war against Iraq
I guess that depends on who "we" is.
I'm sure it wouldn't affect whether AMerica fights or not but I'd like to think that it would affect whether my country went given that I'm British
Subject: Re: war against Iraq
"we" as in Britain, sadly
Subject: Re: war against Iraq
War sucks. Bush sucks. Saddam sucks. Iraqi people don't suck. Diplomacy doesn't suck. A forced exile doesn't suck.
