Subject: Pepsi's Latest
To drink or not to drink?
Pepsi has a new patriotic can coming out with pictures of the Empire State Building and the Pledge of Allegiance on them.
But Pepsi forgot two little words on the pledge of Allegiance, "Under God."
The Reason ?
Pepsi said they did not want to offend anyone.
If this is true then we do not want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office.
If we do not buy any Pepsi products then they will not receive any of our monies.
Our money, after all, does have the words "Under God" on it.
If you disagree with the New Pepsi policy, please pass this word to everyone you know.
Does Pepsi have the right to rewrite the Pledge Of Allegiance?!
Ah yes,
Let the great Pepsi/Coke debate begin again. ;D

Well that little move sure backfired on them, didn't it?

Most of us already knew Pepsi sucked, but this "just takes the cake". Ha, ha, ha, LOL!!!
That's just bad. PC taken to new lows.
Coca-Cola Rules! ;D
Sorry, you knew I just had to get that in there. 8)

My brother works for the local Pepsi distributor. I don't care too much for Pepsi myself, but I love Dr. Pepper, which is distributed by Pepsi in my area. I like Coke more than Pepsi, though…

But they are still offending....Those of us who believe in the Pledge of Allegiance, just like it is written, without their editing.

I love Pepsi. It blows Coke out of the water and it seems that more people are beginning to notice it too with Pepsi doing better than Coke has for a while now. Though I don't agree with taking "Under God" out, but I guess in a way I can see why Pepsi didnt include it. Either way I don't see it hurting their sales any.

If Pepsi did in fact remove "under God" from the Pledge of Alligence, then they are wrong. But it won't stop me from buying Pepsi because soda companies do not run my life. And besides, Coke would have done the same thing. In general, big businesses don't want God in anything.

I believe that too.
Hopefully, this pc balony won't ever spill-over into the cola consumer advert. realm.
