This happened yesterday on the PPP board too. ???
Maybe aliens are intercepting our posts! :o
Subject: Re: Crop Circles
I don't see your first post either. Strange... I've seen posts listed and haven't seen the posts, too. I guess there must be a glitch in the program.
Subject: Re: Crop Circles
Well...not sure what the subject might have been since the post has been beamed up, I mean lost.....but I think they are really cool looking. Made by aliens? No. But I would love to make one in my area, just to see how the locals would react. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's crops though. :(
Subject: Re: Crop Circles
Maybe the aliens didn't want us talking about their plot to take over the world! ;) :D ;D
Subject: Re: Crop Circles
What was it you said? Re-post it.
I dare them aliens to keep messin' with our boards!!!! :P ;D
Subject: Re: Crop Circles
My original post was about crop circles & how facinating they are & what other people thought about them. Like do people think they are ALL hoaxes or do you think there is an explanation? ???

It's tough to have an opinion on something like that.
I still have questions about how the Egyptians managed to construct those piramids (really), questions about The Bermuda Triangle and other unsolved mysteries of the world.
I'll say that I know some of the crop circles were well-documented hoaxes, but not all of them. Some still remain unexplained to this day.
I don't know the answers, nor do I like to speculate. However, I'm very open-minded to the answers to these questions, no matter how unusual. ;D 8)
Subject: Re: Crop Circles
They certainly are fascinating, but I don't think all are hoaxed. However, I don't know what is responsible for the "real" ones either. Not aliens though, I don't think. ;D

That is very interesting. And what about those "Lines of Peru"? That just freaks me out! Especially the little spaceman one! If you don't know what I am talking about just do a google search for them.

Are you talking about the Nasca Lines? They've been explained scientifically many times, as have most of the "wonders" of the ancients, including how the pyramids were built. But they're pretty boring explanations, which is why many people prefer the more fanciful and proposterous explanations. I mean, what's the more colourful theory about crop circles: that some practical jokers with mathematics degrees make them using pieces of board and string, or aliens come down in spaceships and do them? Everyday answers are just too humdrum for most people. That's why we tend to believe the more bizarre theories.
