Subject: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
Well the 00's are almost halfway through(next year will mark the halfway point.) What are your favorite cars of the 00's? Mazda Protege 5, Toyota Celica, Cadillac CTS or anything other car that stands out to you in this decade so far.

HUMMER!!! HUMMER 2!!! Basically, anything Hummer!! :) :) :)
Man! I want one of them soooooo bad. I wonder if my family would mind living in a tent so I can get one?? My husband thinks I'm crazy. :)
Subject: Re: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
I think the Hummer is nice but the Hummer 2 looks kinda weird. I don't like the shape of the new Cadillacs either.
I like the Mitsubishi Eclipse, and I like the Toyota Celica too, but the Celica looks a little bit funky...
In terms of all-around driving, I like the VW line of cars. Affordable and good fuel economy.
Subject: Re: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
I love the Audi lineup, from the sporty little TT to the A-8s, very clean and classy lines. My wife and I agreed that the A6 will be the next car we purchase. I also think that BMW Mini is cool as heck, if I were in my 20's I would serioulsy consider one.
Now I have to put the most dissapointing current model line out there, The Jaguar's. Ford is ruining the classic lines with them, up front is OK but get to the rear and it looks like a Taures, same with Volvo too.
I've always preferred the European styling. Simple, classic lines.
Subject: Re: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
my favs are:
Honda Element
Cadillac CTS
Mini Cooper S
My hates are:
Pontiac Aztec (who approved that thing?!?!)
Subject: Re: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
The Plymouth Prowler was awesome. I really wanted to buy one of those a couple years ago.
I really like Volvos as well, I used to own a 1963 544 model. It looked just like one of those old school hot rods.
One of these days though, I'm going to buy a new model Volvo.
Subject: Re: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
I like the new Cadallicas and Mercedes any verson of those cars i like cause i like the body styles. I also like the Toyota Celica. There is probably more but i cant think of them right now. Oh, though i do like the direction that Chrysler is headed they have had a lot of good designs lately, bring back that older look which i have always been a fan of the 50s cars.
Subject: Re: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
I love the look of the Nissan 350z, but my favorite would probably be the Subaru Impreza WRX.
Subject: Re: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
Favorite Cars/Trucks:
Chevy Avalanche (its an acquired taste I know, but after riding in one I was hooked)
Chevy Corvette (2002-2003)
Cadillac CTS
Chevy Camaro SS (R.I.P.)
Least Favorite Cars:
anything with a VW logo on it
Kia (shuddering at the thought of Kia)
99% of Fords (cummon, they all look the same and have no style anymore)
Most Overrated Car:
Ford Mustang (they were cool...30 years ago. Ford butchered that line. They're not "intimidating" anymore)
Subject: Re: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
As I have said before, my favorite cars are the Subaru WRX, the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VII, and the Mazda Protégé 5.
Subject: Re: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
I looked into one of the Mazda Protege 5 and they are great cars for the money, if I were to trade in my Honda I would look real closely at that one. Good looking, roomy for the size, and the all wheel drive.

I posted this so I'll write mine though I really Mazda's and Nissan's stuff. 1.) 2002+ Volkswagon Passat( I usually don't like German cars but I like this car. 2.)2002+ Audi A4(I like the resfreshening Audi did with this car in between the 2001 and 2002 model years.) 3.) 2000+ Toyota Celica(this is Toyota? Usually a staid car company. Toyota deserves kudo's for this one.) 4.) 2002+ Mazda Protege 5(this car is a youth favorite and has revived Mazda out of their sales decline of the 90's.) 4.) 2003 Mazda 6(is it a sports car or a family sedan? Both. The young people will snap this one up. One of the best looking Japanese Cars ever. 5.) 2002+ Infinti Q45(Nice styling chances by Nissan., too bad its not selling. It is the best car inside an out for 50K. Yes I would take it over a Mercedes, Lexus, or BMW in this price range.) 6.) 2001+ Toyota RAv4(nice styling chances by Toyota again. Toyota has proved it can make cars that are not bland and still sell.) 7.) 2003 Nissan 350Z(Nissan getting its sporty roots back.) 8.) 2002-2003 Acura 3.2TL(I like the way Honda refreshed the design f this car in between the 2001 and 2002 model years, looks good in blue.) 9.) 2001+ Hyundai Elantra(I like the Euro styling of this car espescially in the color gold and silver. 10.) 2001+ Chysler Sebring Convertible(its nice and classy looking.) 11.) 2001+ Lexus IS300(Toyota did a good job but its not selling , still a nice looking car though.) Biggest dissapointments so far: BMW: The 7 Series looks so frumpy. Mitsubishi: The Pontiac of the 00's? They designed some tight looking cars in the 90's(94 3000GT, 95 Eclipse, and 98 Diamante) its styling has crumbled. Honda: I loved this car company as a kid. The RSX looks bland, The new Accord looks like a Buick. The Accrod Coupe used to be sweet looking(the 1998-2002 body style) and the 2003 style looks bland and looks like a Mercedes knock off. Mazda, Nissan, and Volkswagon are the styling leaders now. Also Chrysler looks good with their styling. Chrysler is always an interesting car company to watch.

I love muscle cars. I love Mustangs, Cameros, Corvettes, and Firebirds. I wonder if they stopped making the Camero and Firebird. I love the feel of the engine growling at a red light, waiting to fly as soon as the light turn green. There is somthing about the feeling of power. I drive like a madman, speed limits mean nothing to me. I fly down 30mph sidestreets at 80+. I want more horsepower. And I never get tickets, I have eyes like a hawk. I am most alive when I drive.
There was a carshow in my downtown area where people brought out there classics. I wonder why cars like these are not made anymore. Old thunderbirds with 305's. Chevy SS's with big blocks.
The only muscle car I never got turned onto was the Viper. Something about it smelled like "preppy wuss". I think I could take that car with a stick shift camero with the LT1 engine.
Subject: Re: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
Toyota MR2
Honda Prelude
Honda S2000
Honda Accord
Toyota Echo
Toyota Prius
Anything Acura, Lexus, and Infiniti (if I could afford any of them).

although i can't drive, i have to say i'm in love with the volkswagon jetta. my dream car however is one of those piece-of-crap rabbits from the 70's (80's?). lmfao. i love how they look like one kick would ruin them. but i love volkswagon. (except that stupid new beetle...)
Subject: Re: Favorite Cars(2000-2003)
I like the new beetles the dashboard is a little big but i like the way they look. I dont think i would buy one cause there are other cars i would like to have more (like a 1950 Mercury with a chopped top) but i also like the car i have now.
