Best commercial song would have to be "Mr. Roboto" by Styx when they were in that VW Jetta, and the guy was jesticulating inside the car, but when the other guy opened the door you suddenly hear "DOMO ARIGOTO MR. ROBOTO!!"

I wanted to buy a Jetta or at least test-drive one for the longest time just so I could do that ;D  We played it on our Vegas roadtrip, it was great.

Best movie song...I really liked the way they played Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama" in Forrest Gump, but I'd have to say the duet "Time of My Life" in Dirty Dancing, that made me want to dance :)  Even though I can't :D

My favourite commercial song would probably be "Cannonball" by The Breeders for Nissan.

I'm not a big fan of "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John, but I like the way they used it in Almost Famous.

I notice that car commercials are using a lot of good music. I still like that one where they guy is sitting in his car listening to American Pie. I couldn't believe the girl called him a "geek" because I would be doing the same thing.  ;D As far a movies go, I do like "Time of my Life" from Dirty Dancing. I also like anything by Danny Elfman. I just love his music. If there is a Tim Burton movie, you can almost guarentee that Danny Elfman is doing the music.

I finally saw this movie last year and Ween never fails to amaze me.  It's crazy how they can write such a brilliant pop tune as opposed to the bizarre stuff they normally record.

Close second to Pearl Jam's State of Love and Trust (Singles)

Another great Movie song would be Love Rollercoaster by Red Hot Chili Peppers...

Umm not too sure on any other commercial songs as they are usually pretty sad.
