Subject: Songs That Remind You Of Christmas...
...but have absolutly nothing to do with the season! What I mean is certain songs which arn't about Christmas (so not tunes such as 'Last Christmas', 'Do They Know It's Christmas, 'Jingle Bell Rock' etc...)
I have tonnes of pop songs which remind me of Christmas - mainly songs which I listened to a lot during the season or songs that I of my friends used in the Xmas shows at school for dancing. For example, listening to '*Nsync - Its Gonna Be Me', always reminds me of my Year 11 Christmas show because some of the lads in out year spent about 3 months learning a dance routine to perform in the show. I'm also bit of a dancer and me and my friends helped them with certain moves, but we were also organising the show. It was fantastic to see a bunch of lads not scared of getting stick that they liked a song by a boy-band and willing to get up and show that they really could dance. Even though we also danced in the show - their performance was the highlight of it all :) Hearing that song will always bring a smile to my face. I really miss being a part of that show beacuse now I've left school we don't have anything at all similar in college.
So any un-Xmas songs that remind you of any memories from anyone?

sorry i forgot to tell you why. When i was 4 i remember it was christmas day and i was going to my grandmas and for some odd reason the Monster Mash was playing right there on the radio. And now everytime i hear that song, i think of that christmas

My sister got a Miami sound machine album one christmas, and the whole 400 mile ride home we listened to "Conga" over and over.

I hate to be the one to ruin the spirit of Xmas, but they started playing Xmas tunes like the second after Thanksgiving was officially over. I think 28 days straight of Xmas tunes is going to drive me nuts. :-X

"Come On Aussie Come On" - it's an advertising jingle that was tuned into a novelty song here in Australia, for advertising the international one-day cricket series.
Of course the cricket season always takes place over summer, and thus Christmas (in the Southern hemishpere, that is ;D )

I always think of As Tears Go By by the 'Stones, because in othe School Choir in year 6 (geez that's like six years ago!) we sang it in concert before we broke up for Christmas.... lol. ::)

Another song I can think of is "A Long December" by Counting Crows. It does have December in it, but no mention of Christmas.

The finale to the Gondiliers by Gilbert and Sullivan. I know that sounds weird but in my senior year of high school, I was in choir. We did that song. At every concert we did, we always ended with that song. Even our Christmas ones. During the holidays, we went around and preformed for the Lions Club, the Kawais, the Eagles, etc, etc. So we put on a lot of Christmas concerts and of course, we ended each one with the finale to the Gondiliers. (Of course that song just reminds of me that year in choir anyway.)

Anything from Jesus Christ, Superstar. I'd listen to the whole thing through in one sitting every Christmas. It didn't have any Christmas songs on it, but it had a couple of minor hits (I Don't Know How to Love Him, Jesus Christ Superstar).

"Father Christmas" It's a song in that musical Scrooge. Ya know the musical. That is the only Christmas movie I have ever liked because as a child a thought it was really spooky.
