Subject: The Ketchup Song:
Boy,I tell ya,I love this song so much now I just can't get enough of it when I listen to it on the radio.A few months ago on my radio station they were playing some latin song but wasn't too sure who sang it so then I overheard it few months later and it was some 3some who calls themselves"Las Ketchup"(The Munoz sisters)who were all born in Spain.nice catchy tune. And I thought The"Macarena"was catchy. ;D This song could definitely be a one-hit wonder. You never know. -howard- ;)
Subject: Re: The Ketchup Song:
It is catchy, but it may have the same fate as other similar songs such as 1999's Blue and 1996's Macarena.

I've been humming the tune and doing the little hand jive that goes along with the song all afternoon!!! :)
Subject: Re: The Ketchup Song:

Yeah,Screw It could be.I'd say give this song about 2 years and it will be on a compilation disk or something.Probably something like"Best Of Latin Dance Hits".That's a good title. -howard- ;D
Subject: Re: The Ketchup Song:
well you guys inspired me to download it and listen to it. I just did. Wasn't thatbad. I'd rather listen to this than the Macerena.
Subject: Ketchup Song: Can u say rappers delight ripoff?
That "hip hop hippie to the hippie...." stuff is off of Sugarhill Gang's "Rapper's Delight." This is the worst song since Michael Bolton's "That's What Love is All About." :P :'(
Subject: Re: The Ketchup Song:
I did hear the Macarena played ad nauseum when it was released, and they still play it on occasion. But I hardly ever heard "Blue" on my station, and I don't think it was very popular in this area.

This song should be destroyed. >:(
Subject: Re: The Ketchup Song:
I dunno, seems alright to me... nothing worth getting particularly worked up about.
Subject: Re: The Ketchup Song:
The Sugar Hill Gang's "Rappers Delight" should have been left alone.
