Subject: Magnum, P.I.
Someone else started a topic for a Hunter movie which aired. My question to all: Is there a TV series you would like to see on again as a TV Movie? I liked Magnum, and am suprised there never was a Movie. If television executives can make a "facts of life" reunion movie, what about Magnum. I wonder if Tom Selleck is asking for too much money. They should do it before cast members die of old age.

Am I mistaken or did the guy who played Jonathan Quail Higgins die? I think I heard that somewhere.....
Subject: Re: Magnum, P.I.
I did not hear that, and hope it is a mistake. A reunion movie without him would just not be the same.

Me too! Even found the "Estate" and Tom Selleck's house on O'ahu.

I like that idea.
I also wouldn't mind watching an A-Team movie...but too bad George Peppard passed away :(

Where was Robin's Nest? I remember there was a contest after Magnum went off the air, where people tried to locate the original Robin's nest. I think they had two different locations for the Estate during the lifespan of the show.

I second that. But who would make the "plan" without colonel Smith. I liked this series, especially the interaction between Murdock and BA. It is sad Peppard passed away. I loved it when a plan came together.

I was just thinking of a Different Strokes reunion. The problem is I don't think that will happen.Conrad Bain:don't know whatever became of him,Gary Coleman, maybe? Todd Bridges may be an actor soon,Dana Plato died of a drug overdose in 1997 :( So,It may not happen. What do you guys think of a Different Strokes reunion? -howard-

I'm sure they'd figure something out...what with the resurgence of Mr. T in commercials and Conan skits :) Maybe they can do an angle where they find out Hannibal was killed and they have to exact revenge by building a monster truck out of a pillowcase and some shedded deer antlers ::)

I really do love it when a plan comes together! ;D ;D ;D I nearly wet myself reading your comments. ;D ;D ;D "Building a monster truck out of a pillowcase and some shredded deer antlers?" That almost sounds like McGyver. Speaking of which, that might not be a bad TV movie.

They did have a couple MacGyver TV movie specials in the early 90s...I definitely remember one where in the climactic scene he defused a nuclear bomb with a plastic straw :)

If I could afford it, there would be no place I'd rather live ;)

How about a Gimmie A Break reunion? That's something to look forward to.BUT,the problem is that most of the stars are passed away like Dolph Sweet and the grampa who died in the late 80's of a heart attack. What about Nell Carter with her main role? I would like to see that. :D -howard-

I would just say that if there was ever a man who could've make me melt, it was Tom Selleck.

I only remember the Robin's Nest that was on the Island of O'ahu. Tom Selleck also had a house there.
