Subject: Pearl Jam- Riot Act

As you may can tell I'm a fan of Pearl Jam and picked the new Album up on Tuesday. I stayed up late last night too to see then on David Letterman, they are a band made to play live.
Anyone else give the new CD a listen? Tell us what you think.
My opinion is it takes a few listens to to "get it", some of my favorite recordings over the years haven't been fully relized and appreciated unitil you've been thru them a few times. PJs 1st album 10 was that way just becasue it was such a new sound. I think that the band is going towards a new, almost folkish sound. The musicainship is as always amazing with layers of sounds emitting varying and conflicting emotions and events.
I stongly recommend it, just be sure to leave it in your player for a few days to fully appreciate it.
