Subject: Bin Laden's Alive & Kickin'.
And he's again, allegedly, threatened the U.S. and Allies. He applauded the many tragic terrorist incidents which have taken place - some within the last month.

What do you think the US would do if the army actually caught him?
Subject: Re: Bin Laden's Alive & Kickin'.
Don't know if this would be the case but I think the best thing to do is kill him quietly to avoid the martyrdom. Make a big deal of it to many get excited and all world leader would have to comment on it, groups would have to protest it, and the select crazy few would have to follow him and possibley do horrible things to other on the way.
Me, I'd like to personally beat him to death, no weapons needed.

I wonder if that's not been done already...
Consider...we have the technology to see the edge of our galaxy, surely we have the technology to see military installations and such from space...my guess is that SOMEONE knows where old Bin is, but as you said, killing him on Prime Time would make him a martyr and spark a new era of protests and such. But, that is to say nothing of taking him prisoner and slowly torturing him...but that's just my rant

I had a chance to half listen to the New York Times' Tom Friedman on public radio while at work today. (It was great, 30 full minutes without a money-begging pledge interruption...)
Friedman makes a pretty persuasive case for exterminating any and all terrorists. After my nap I'm going to google him...

It's ironic that you would title this thread "Bin Laden's Alive And Kickin'", because his followers must have Simple Minds. ;D
