Subject: Pet Psychic
Anybody seen the pet psychic on Animal Planet? What do you think about her? Is she looney or ya think she may be on to something.
Subject: Re: Pet Psychic
I haven't, and generally think all psychics are charlatans.

I was going to say the same thing. The only thing I think about whenever I see her is how many times she's had her face lifted! ;) :D

That's the basis for my viewpoint. I believe they exist, and that science has not yet developed machines capable of seeing them. Science has also not yet developed scads of other things, like a cure for AIDS, or a safe, effective way to close the hole in the ozone layer. I do believe that scientists will keep looking... :) :D ;D

Thanks for saying that :)

Hi. Personally, in my opinion, i think it's actually a good thing these days that people care alot for animals. but really..pet psychics? That is going too far, and it's just ridiculous.

I have seen bits of this show while surfing, but not more than four or five minutes worth at a time. I can't say for sure if she's "for real".
People should keep in mind that for every "real" psychic out there, there are something like 200 or 300 charlatans.
I'm told the way you can tell is that the fakes will always "fish" for info. "I sense someone who yells a lot. Who yells a lot in your home" is something a fake psychic would use to get you to inadvertantly spill the beans. Someone who has a real ability would not only tell you your teenage daughter's boyfriend yells at the dog when you are not home, (s)he will also tell you the kid's real age, (not what your daughter told you), and why the bathroom always smells suspiciously of cloves and lemon air freshener (they are smoking pot, and trying to cover it up).
Keeping this in mind, how much "fishing" do all these tv psychics do?

I suppose it might be fun to have a pet psychic, but how much trouble are they to look after, and what does the pet insurance cover?
Come to think of it, why should a pet psychic need pet insurance as they should be able to see what's coming...
And how often do you need to take them for walks?
