It is too bad that several talented reporters will lose jobs because Rosie's ego couldn't run a magazine. If you heard her blow a gasket at her news conference, you can tell she couldn't take the pressure of having her name on a periodical. :-X :-[

I thought this thread was about the Australian-based swingers magazine, and was wondering why it was being brought up now since it closed down some time ago. Bit of a shame that

No... wait! What I meant was.....

Rosie seems to be having a time of it lately. I guess the pressure of fame was just too much on her, which is why she backed out of her talk show and magazine...

I'm surprised that not one female has responded to this post!  I'm not sad that Rosie's magazine is being discontinued; I'm sad because of the fact that the magazine formerly known as McCall's is being discontinued!  You ladies out there!  Did you or your mom ever read McCall's?  Did you ever read the adventures of Betsy McCall when you were a girl?  It's a sad day when a well-known magazine (albeit under a different name) bites the dust!

Well no, we never had such "girly" magazines in our household, but knowing that McCall's is a very old mag from the days when women (and men) were classy, makes me sad.  But it makes me sadder that it had to die in disgrace w/a changed name - some egotist's personal name, no less!  How weird!

My Mom used to get McCalls. I had no idea that Rosies was the same publication. Seems like Rosie's travails started getting worse and worse right after she came "out of the closet". Not that theres anything wrong with that. :D
