Subject: Woody Harrelson stands up for George Michael.

Woody Harrelson who played the dim baretender on cheers, is now showing his true colors by claiming the war on terror is "bullshit". Oh well he has a right to believe whatever he wants.

Good ol' Woody is entitled to his opinion and it might be considered brave to announce it (but it could also be a publicity stunt).
I think he's doing more of a service to democracy than some of the 'free' press will give him credit for.

Quoting:He also had nothing but praise for the Daily Mirror.
"I have one thing to say about the Mirror - it's amazing," he said. "The paper's stance on the war against terrorism is just right. It's so bold.End Quote
...after reading the above bit from the article, I started to doubt its veracity: the Mirror (under Piers Morgan, a subject in my work-in-progress parody "The Profit Song") has had a tendency to print whatever it likes, and has made up plenty of quotes in the past. I can't help wondering what Woody *did* say

Yah it does seem like a self promotion ad for the paper, kind of like woody agrees with us, so you should too. I am unclear on the credibility of the source, so if it's not true I apologise. I got the link from another credible US news site.

Looks like Woody is George's new "playful poodle". Can anyone say "the pot calling the kettle black"? ;)

The Mirror used to be a first-rate investigative paper (say, 20 or 30 years ago); when the Sun started running sexy trivia and stealing the Mirror's market share, the Mirror too went downmarket like a rabbit down a hole and now its a rag as bad (or worse) than any of the others. The story probably was printed in a UK national newspaper, for whatever credibility that gives it...
