Subject: It's a sad day at the box office

Its a sad day at the box office when a film about a little mouse ties a film about gangsters and hitmen. Has anyone seen "Road to Perdition''? what did you think?

IMO, that's not sad. "Stewart Little 2" tied on it's opening weekend with "Road to Perdition" on its second week. It wasn't like they both debuted at the same exact time or anything.

What's sad is that both "Stewart Little 2" and "Road to Perdition" didn't have the expected turnout. It's sad for the moviemakers and all who stand to earn for the film, of course. It doesn't affect me any.  ;)

There waas nothing in the previews that made me want to go see it, personally. IMO, that particular movie's aimed at the film critics and Oscar watchers genre and Tom Hanks and Paul Newman fans.

IMO, I want to go out to the movies for some lighthearted, fun, action entertainment to take me away from the realities of the world. I leave high drama for rentals only.  ;D ;) :)

You mean it wasn't aimed at people who like gangster movies?  Tom has enough Oscars, I am hurt.  :( :( :(

I'm sorry!  :-[ I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. You're right. I left out those who like gangster movies too. Just an oversight.  ;D

Anyone see Mr. Deeds?  It was alright, but it was too much of a love story.  I was dissapointed, maybe because Adam Sandler was in it and I expected more comedy.
