Subject: Scooby Doo
Saw this movie yesterday morning. I can tell you it was great...I wasn't expecting much, but I laughed my butt off. I recommend it to all. Scrappy Doo even has a cameo, and it turns out the the Mystery Inc gang didn't like him either....ha. The critics gave it zero stars, but what do they know? It is hillarious. Go, I say, go!

I was thinking of seeing the movie this weekend, just for the heck of it. I just wish they had casted the movie differently...then I wouldn't be so reluctant to see it.

Why? Who's so bad... don't tell me, let me guess... is it:
Timothy Dalton as Shaggy
Ruby Wax as Velma
or Mike Myers as Scooby?
Phil
PS Who so far has only seen about 2 secs of a Scooby trailer...
Subject: Re: Scooby Doo
I've seen two trailers the first was the better of the two but I'll still go and see it.Critics aren't foolproof I've seen some real duds that the critics raved about and also loved things they've slammed.

How about Rosie O'Donnell as Velma?

Why is it that toasters have settings that burn toast to a blackened crisp that no one would eat?

...because different bread on the same setting might be done to perfection. Or maybe pop tarts (not that I've ever tried a pop tart - are we back to Britney again?)

I just got back from the movie, it was great!

Saw Scooby Doo this afternoon and it wasn't bad at all. The movie was quite funny---my daughter loved. Matthew Lillard did a terrific job as Shaggy and the animated Scooby Doo was wonderful. But I still hated Sarah Michelle Geller as Daphne and Freddie Prinze Jr. as Fred---they just came off as bland, to me. But it was still worth watching.
Now who is anxious to see "Hulk"?! I loved The Incredible Hulk back in the 70's, so I can't wait to see this movie.
