Are you sick of Realty TV already? Taking it to these extremes? Bending the rules for ones own enjoyment, in order to win grand amounts of money? Comments?

I just gotta say - what is the point in not nomitaing anyone - it's part of the GAME that these people chose to be involved in! Are you into the whole Big Brother thing Bobo? I must admit, I did get sucked into it last year, which is bad, but it's very very addictive! :)

It's a great concept, lock twelve people in a house, see what happens". The events that have happened in the past, "Nasty Nick" Bateman - he has since hosted a quiz show, and Paul and Helen, simply lend themselves to compulsive viewing. In my opinion, anyway. Criz, do you remember Craig Phillips won £70,000 in the first series, and donated his money to someone else? It just so happened that eight weeks before, I was talking to Joanne Harris (the person to whom he gave the money, for her operation), on the phone. Small world, no? I did hear that on top of his 70K, BB1 were donating an extra 70K to pay for traveling, and funds etc.
Anyway, as soon as I get it set up on my computer, I might watch it live from the house... if I can be bothered.

That was fantastic of Craig to give his winnings to her. It's also fantastic that BB decided to helpa needy girl - so good on them! :)
Very small world! Do you mind me asking how you came to talk with her?

She used to go to my school (which I have now left, just going back for exams). I used to talk to her all the time at school, and after she left, I borrowed her phone-number, and we've chatted regularly since.

That's cool. I bet you got especially sucked in when BBB1 beacuse you knew the girl, and wanted to see whther Craig would win so she'd recieve the money needed for the operation :).
I suppose it would be strange if one of my friends was on it. A friend of my boyfriends applied and someone who I work with has promised to enter it next year (he's got a bet going on!) - I'd just laugh constantly if he got on - he'd flirt with every girl in the house!

I didn't watch much of (US) Big Brother I, but I tuned in to BB2 after the first one or two episodes.
With The Mole coming back in two days, and Big Brother 3 starting soon, my reality plate will almost be filled! :D

PS who BTW cannot stand Big Brother or any of its lookalikes, and only dropped in on this thread to see if anybody else hates it too...

I know many people who feel the same way as you. It's terribly addictive - I never thought I'd get hooked last year, but I did. A lot of people can't help but get sucked into these peoples' lives. It just makes reality look exciting I guess.

Well Philbo, I did get sucked in by it for a while, then we got a new computer and the missus bought The Sims. Now we never watch TV at all. Or leave the house. Or sleep. Or go to work. Someone needs to click on us to tell us what to do...
