Subject: Chandra Levy
Well, they found her remains today in a DC park. Investiagators are saying Gary Condit may not be the only politition involved. Personally, I hope they find everyone who took part in her death and bring them to justice, no matter who they are in Washington.

It's almost like those conspiracies in movies, isn't it? :o :P ::)

I heard it could have been a serial killer.

Suuuure.... ::) I heard that too, but "Nah". It's too easy to pin it on something that's too obvious and yet vague. It was politically advantageous for certain politicians to have her "disappear".

How about the way the vultures - aka media - are all lined up around the house of her parents? For cryin' out loud, leave the people alone!! Let them grieve, and when they are ready they will talk to you!

I totally agree with you!

Gary Condit hasn't been on his best behavior, but I don't think he had anything to do with Chandra Levy's death. It was probably a jealous boyfriend or ex-fiance. Maybe even a stranger. This will be a long, expensive investigation. :(

That sucks. You know who she looked like? princess Diana don't ya think?

I agree, too. It won't happen, though....heaven forbid someone should have some privacy in their time of grief.
Subject: Re: Chandra Levy
Unfortunately, the Media is too greedy! They don't care about someones grief! Its all money to them! WHAT A SHAME!
Peace,Cat Lover

my condolences to her friends and family :'(
yeah, the media only care about the money they get, and don't show any remorse for the victim's family/friends >:(

Yeah, the media sucks sometimes...
I wonder if she may have just been hiking in this park, collapsed and died of a heart attack or something like that. I know she was young, but it's feasible.

I heard she had been buried in a shallow grave and animals had dug her up. If this is true, then it had to be murder. I don't think anyone would bury her if she had just collapsed. If there wasn't a grave (you know how the media is....report now and ask questions later) then I think your idea os a good one.

God,Just imagine finding a woman/Man's skeletal remains like Chandra's in a deep dark forest and your'e hiking with some friends and u see a skull buried under some grass and leaves? Man,that would put me in a state of shock.I have a queasy stomach and I'd think I'd vomit from the stentch of the decayed bodily fluids. What would you guys do if you saw one of those? -howard- :) :o
Subject: Re: Chandra Levy
Oh, I see...I hadn't heard about the shallow grave. Definately foul play.

Like I said, I only heard that one time. It was on the local news Friday. It could have been that somebody jumped the gun with a story, wouldn't that be a shock ::)
Subject: Re: Chandra Levy
This story got pushed to the back burner... anyone heard any more up-to-date info?
Subject: Re: Chandra Levy
Basically from what I have read (it's still a topic of conversation here in DC) apparantly investigators are looking into the possibility that a sex offender was involved that is currently incarcerated for a similar crime involving a couple of rapes that occured in Rock Creek Park where Chandra's body was found.
And as we all know, Gary Condit isn't a suspect anymore but his shenanigans caused him to lose his re-election (surprise surprise). I think he screwed himself in the end, but I also think that the DC Police weren't equipped to deal with a US Senator as a suspect in this case. I think they did the best they could do with what little info they had on Condit, but I also felt that the FBI should have stepped much sooner. I still have doubts about him, but I don't think he murdered her. If anything there is a three-ring circus that will surface eventually. I am just glad she was found & the cause of her death was finally determined.
