Subject: Music Television Channels

I used to be a big fan of MTV back in the eighties and I enjoyed VH1 and MTV both in the 90's but now I have to ask, "Where did the music go?" It is so hard to catch music videos anymore. I like some of the programs that are offered on the two channels but it is so strange that there aren't many times to catch the videos. I depended on the music channels to introduce me to new artists. Now I have to fall back on the radio again...LOL
Do y'all miss the old times when you could turn your television to MTV, turn down the volume and crank up the ole Pioneer to decibels unknown. Yes, that was alot of fun wasn't it.
Peace,
A'isha

If I watch any music tv at all anymore, it's VH1C. They play all of the stuff that MTV used to play years ago. I love the 'we are the 80's' and 'pop show' segments!

I like some of MTV's shows and some of VH1's shows (excluding countdowns) but I do wish I knew when to catch more music videos. In the summer I watch VH1 in the morning from in between 6-9, they have (or had) something (I forget what it is called, Morning Mix or something) but it just plays music videos. VH1 could at least start doing better on their countdowns >:(

MTV sucks...VH1 pretty much sucks....MTV2 is ok if you can catch some NON-rap videos, but other than that, they suck...I watch VH1 Classic they do not suck ;)

I agree. Nowadays, as far as I can tell, VH1 Classic is our only answer.

Even the country music channels have more vidoes thanMTV does now. But who wants to listen to them? Only if Chely Wright is on. ;D

If you get MTV2 or VH1 Classic, I recommend those. MuchMusic you may be able to catch some videos...usually in the middle of the day and early in the morning MTV has videos...VH1 is just during shows like the countdowns. BET you usually can catch videos during the day, but at night they have movies and other shows. -- Junior
