I chose ketchup on the side but I also like to dip in ranch dressing. Sometimes I just eat fries with salt and nothing more. My DH thinks I'm weird because I'll bring home leftover fries (from a restaurant) and eat them cold later on.  ;D

Yes, it is. The original one like on the picture is very good. I hate it however, if the fries are too soft and if there is too much cheese.

baked potatoes. shook the bag up well, the placed the fries on a baking pan and baked them for about
12 minutes. The rub worked really well on the fries as they were good!

I do not like salt (strange I know) so I don't care for them with salt on them but will eat them if salt is already on them (but I have been known to brush the salt off).

A lot of it depends on what else in on my plate. If there is some kind of sauce I will dip the fries in that. I have eaten them with mayo, salad dressing, barbecue sauce, gravy, and whatever. Sometimes I will put ketchup on it-usually on the side, and sometimes I will eat them without anything.

Crushed feta cheese instead of salt. Just make sure they don't have salt on them. It's yummy, you gotta try it guys. I also love the Dutch Joppiesaus. I love ketchup, but this is the tastiest sauce I've ever tasted. McDonald's should start using it. And make a Gluten-free version. :)

I eat french fries with ketchup on the side. I used to like having my fries with the ketchup all over, but I seem to lose interest on that kind of way.

Oh it's definitely real. It varies from brand to brand. Some call it "ketchup" some call it "catsup". For years in the 60s and 70s I remember Hunt's brand was the only one to call it "catsup" and they had commercials on TV with Fred McMurrray ("My Three Sons") who made sure he distinctly pronounced it that way and it sounded odd because no one says it in real life. In more recent times I notice more brands calling it "catsup" but still no one says it that way.

I make my own fries sometimes. I cut the potatoes, then double fry them. Then I add, I don't know what it's called in English, in Hindi it's called mirche (it basically means 'spice', I think it might be a ground red pepper sort of thing) and then I squeeze some lemon citrus and add salt. I call them 'Indian fries', it's better than French! ;D  Get your spicy acidic fries while they're hot.  8)

If I'm eating regular fries, I eat them plain or as a poutine (Québécois/Canadian specialty – fries with gravy and cheese curds). :P
