This isn't a first for them, I remember when they had the Thanksgiving sodas, which I(fortunately) didn't try.

Oh yes, my girls and HUBBY (and I think he eats them more than anything - 2 bags before bed) love both the smiles, and the fruit snacks from Aldi's (both are really soft, and flavorful - those brachs fruit snacks - SUCK!)

I used to love that stuff too, both with the tiny Chicklettes in it, or with the big bubble gum balls in it!  I left my daughter have it, first time I had seen it in YEARS (no Baskin's left around anymore, as they have all been taken over by the local Whitey's chain; you probably know it) she though it was the best thing this side of the moon, and I was the greatest mom ever for letting her have it  8)

Well, that's the deal.  The only organ you're likely to burn out with an overdose of sugar-based sushi is your pancreas.  (But what a way to go!  Hat tip to DJ Tomcraft.)

I've made sashimi.  Decent (edible, but any real chef would laugh me out of the kitchen).  DIY sashimi is more work (in terms of finding suitable fish) than it's worth unless you let the pros do it.  But if you wander into the office with a plate of stuff that looks like sashimi, the fact that it's made of pure sugar only makes you 20% cooler more popular in ten seconds flat.

I have had Jelly Belly's Buttered Popcorn pudding before, it's not horrible. Best to chill it in the freezer though.

First off it totally smells like bacon. Mostly like the aroma of the paper towels that capture the bacon grease when you cook em in the bacon grease...when it still smells good!

Then you taste it and it totally tastes like bacon. Honestly, I have licked the grease off of a bacon plate before and it's sort like that sweet like a shake and smokey like bacon.  The mistake I made was pausing to post on fb. Tge bacon shake should not be interrupted. Once you get over your initial shock it's good but once you get your tongue coated with it & the flavor settles it totally disturbs round two.  Also don't drink it warm  8-P tgat was round three cuz I put it down to update my initial fb post  ;D warm bacon shake? There are no words!

This thread reminds me of a recent competition, where people were asked to suggest possible outrageous flavors for chocolate eggs.
The weirdest suggestions would be put to the test. And so they tried... Bacardi & Coke flavored chocolate eggs, Liquorice flavored chocolate eggs and Tomato flavored chocolate eggs.

Not suprisingly, the latter was the least popular. ::)
