Hi Everyone!
Okay, so what's the difference between Picante Sauce and Salsa. I was eating some chips and picante sauce today and the picante tastes EXACTLY like salsa.
Is there a differenace or are they the same thing? ;D

If I'm not mistaken--picante is the same as salsa, but it has less chunks of vegetables. ???

Picante means spicy, so I am figuring maybe picante is spicy salsa, since salsa is sometimes mild

True, Salsa just means sauce. Picante means spicy as in hot. A salsa picante is a hot sauce.

No wonder every time I'd eat some of that pcante, I'd be in tears. And I got the MEDIUM heat one!
